Boy Scouts of America, Blue Ridge Mtns. Council Serving youth ages 6 to 21 The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to serve others by helping to instill in young people and, in other ways to prepare them to make ethical choices over their lifetime. The Patrick Henry District Committee meets monthly and is charged with the oversight and direction of Scouting activities in Maritnsville, Henry and Patrick Counties. Boys Scouts serve boys 6-10 for Cub Scouts; 11-18 for Boy Scouts; and boys and girls ages 14 to 21 for Venturers.
