Leadership Giving

At the heart of every worthwhile endeavor is a group of people with strength, character and sense of purpose who inspire others to help meet the needs of the community. We are thankful to the individuals who are committed to improving our community through United Way of Henry County and Martinsville.

Leadership Giving, annual gifts of $600 or more, represents the area of greatest growth to help individuals, children and families in our community. The importance of leadership giving is not just being a part of reaching a community goal, but leading the community by example. There are two types of Leadership Giving:

Pacesetter Circle Membership Levels

Local recognition includes special invitations to events and listing in the Leadership Giving Directory. Pacesetter Members who increase their gift annually by 10% receive special recognition.

Platinum Circle ($6,000 - $9,999)
Gold Circle ($3,000 - $5,999)
Silver Circle ($1,200 - $2,999)
Bronze Circle ($600 - $1,199)

Tocqueville Society Membership Levels

Tocqueville Society Members receive national recognition in addition to special invitations to events and listing in the Leadership Giving Directory. Tocqueville Society Members who increase their gift by 10% annually receive special recognition.
