Day of Action is United Way of Henry County & Martinsville’s signature event where we offer opportunities for our volunteers to LIVE UNITED together on one day to complete numerous community projects and drives as identified by our nonprofit organizations, school systems and government agencies.
Each year, Day of Action officially kicks off our annual Campaign Drive.
For this event to be successful, your participation is needed. This day creates a unique opportunity to mobilize the community to support our area's caring power. The more opportunities we have to promote, the more we are able to create a buzz around the great work that our community volunteers do to make sure that the most vulnerable members of our hometown have opportunities to be successful in life.
It is that simple, yet that powerful.
